My ever-growing interest in math began as an interest in epistemology, which features a strong probabilistic component (e.g., Bayesian epistemology). This comes from a yet broader interest of mine in understanding how we represent (quantitatively or qualitatively, consciously or unconsciously, formally or informally) to ourselves our our mind-bogglingly complex world.

That said, on this website I’ve sub-categorized Probability under the broader category of Philosophy. Some of these posts also go under the category of Math, but not all. Which is to say that some posts on this website are categorized under Probability and have math in them, yet are not categorized under Math.

I don’t really know where to draw the line there. So if you’re looking for stuff in the genre of “Is it possible to get 100 Heads in a row?” or “How to lie with statistics” or “Frequentism vs Bayesianism” or “probability is strange,” etc., you might want to check out the Probability category.
